You might be out of luck. The only way that I (and most people I've talked through it) have got it working is by using Terminal. NFS Manager never seemed to work properly on Leopard for me.

Open the terminal and type

showmount -e

then hit return and post the output here.

Can you also post EXACTLY what you've got entered in the sharing part of your TViX preferences and a brief description of your network set up (with IP addresses).

I'll do my best to help, but you should be aware I no longer have a TViX so I can't test any of this first-hand, I'll be doing it completely from memory.

This is all new to me

Have DNS323 and TVIX6500A with Linksys router. No nothing about settings, so can someone explain what I need to type on the settings page of the TVIX box so that it sees the DNS323 box and what Ineed to set on the DNS box so it can be seen.

Sorry its all new. Friend was gonna set it up, but gone away for a while.

Hi everyone.

I own a TVIX M-6500 for about 6 months now, and it worked fine until now.
I have a problem, and with all the tests that i've made, the only conclusion I made is that the problem is with the 6500: The image on tv is now too bright, and unfocused. Even with 1080p files, I have a shitty image. I tested other cables, and it's not the tv also. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is it possible that my HDMI port has been damaged for good??

Also, I don't know if it's related, but I use the Tivixie software for backgrounds, covert arts and fanarts... maybe it did something?
