Can anyone help?
We bought two TViX 2230 digital jukeboxes for HD TV reception. After trying for over a week to set them up, we're seriously thinking of returning them, unless someone can help in the next couple of days.
The information in the manual is basic. e.g. There’s a selection to change the colour of subtitles but no instruction as to how to put the subtitles on.
There’s no step by step instruction to show how to record onto a device plugged into the USB port. We’ve plugged one in but a red circle with a red line through it appears on the screen.
The reception through the TViX is worse than our present SD set-top box bought from a supermarket. Stations that are normally clear glitch.
Our portable TV doesn’t have stereo sound, so there’s no sound when we’re on digital.
The leads provided are extremely short so that it has to be plugged into the front of the TV. In the specifications there is “HDMI Out - for the ultimate viewing”. The cable to connect to the TV is shown in the manual but isn’t provided. Do we need one before the set top box works properly?
This isn't a novice friendly set top box!! :( |
